The purpose of this document is, first and foremost, to provide sources for the claims made in the film Enemies Within: The Church, as an attestation to the truth of our documentary. Over the course of the film’s reception, many have inquired about a variety of specific claims. This was expected, due to the nature of documentaries like this one. The subversion of the American Church has reached a shocking height, and it comes as no surprise that some viewers might respond with incredulity. While it is not offensive to our team that some members of our audience might be skeptical, it would be rather tedious to respond to each individual inquiry about EWTC’s claims. 20:56: Bella Dodd- member of American Communist Party in the 1930’s and she was involved in teachers unions in New York. She spoke about bringing 1100 Communists into the Catholic Church. According to Church Militant: “Von Hildebrand shared with us the story of one Bella Dodd, a Communist agent with the American Communist Party from 1927–49. Dodd eventually converted to the Catholic faith under the direction of Abp. Fulton Sheen and became friends with the von Hildebrands. Here is what Alice told us that Dodd told her and her husband in 1965: ‘Stalin, soon after he came to power, ordered his cronies to invade Catholic seminaries … with young men that had neither faith nor morals.
